Ozone generators can be useful to remediate smoke and other odors.
Ozone is hazardous to your health and well being - not to be used where humans, animals, etc are present. Should be set to run, area evacuated, then well ventilated prior to returning. It's also possible to run an extension cord outside of the treated area and use that to control on/off cycles.
NOT INTENDED TO RUN CONTINUOUSLY - usually a 15-30 minute ozone cycle followed by several hours of circulating air in a closed space is plenty. Running a box fan or furnace on fan mode works well in a house.
May damage plastics, cloth, etc - do research or test in an inconspicuous area first!
